screen subtitles are when small sentences that

appear on the screen that are telling you or giving you an indication of what

as you know as a way of reinforcing their statement it is a kind of phrasal

of the characters from Wacky Races and apparently they are also very popular in

many parts of the world including Japan so there you can see the two characters

on the left there is the dog his name is Muttley

Muttley and he has a very distinctive laugh that is actually how he laughs and

on the right you have Dick Dastardly so does anyone else know these characters a

cartoon series I used to watch as a child called Wacky Races I used to watch

it all the time and apparently a lot of people around the world watch it as well

fed n says when I was young I watched these sometimes as well

used to make lots of children's cartoons including Wacky Races also top

Wenlock called the Blue Lagoon it is a quarry filled with water do you

ever go swimming there no I don't because it's very dangerous

the police will often read that particular place because you are not

supposed to swim in that place for two reasons first of all it is private

property and it belongs to someone else the other

thing is that it's very dangerous because under the water there are lots

of sharp rocks and sometimes people will throw things in to the lake so it used

to be a Quarry but later on it filled with water

so now a lot of people in the summer go there to swim however it is very

dangerous to swim in any place that you are unsure of including abandoned

quarries so a lot of people do like to go swimming they call it the Blue Lagoon

however you might end up turning blue yourself if you were to drown let's just

i saw an invasion of grasshoppers and butterflies but not these lovely bugs
